Hackensack looks forward to seafood festival

Hackensack seafood lovers will be looking forwards to the Meadowlands Racetrack Seafood Fest this August. The festival brings together seafood vendors, live harness racing, and family-friendly entertainment for an evening of food and community activities. The annual event offers visitors an opportunity to enjoy a wide variety of food while experiencing one of the summer's premier racing weekends.

Live harness racing will begin during the festival, featuring the Hambletonian and Hambletonian Oaks Eliminations. The races are among the highlights of the harness racing calendar and are expected to draw both racing enthusiasts and casual spectators throughout the evening.

Seafood will be the main attraction, with food vendors and trucks serving dishes such as fried fish and clams, lobster rolls, grilled shrimp, and shrimp cocktail. Guests can also choose from barbecue, smoked meats, and other specialty offerings. Vendors scheduled to attend include Sliderz n Bowlz, Kimchi Smoke, Jersey Juice Company, and additional food businesses.

Organizers often collaborate with local Print shops for banner and poster printing to promote large community events such as food festivals and help direct visitors around the venue.

The Seafood Fest will take place on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Meadowlands New Jersey close to Hackensack. Live harness racing will start at 6:35 p.m., and admission is free. Additional event and vendor information is available from the event organizers.
