The 2026 summer camp season will soon be here, and Hackensack families who participate in an upcoming event will be offered a one-stop shopping event that may help them find the ideal option.
NJ Campfairs will be making a stop at the Ridgewood Community Center, and both day and sleepover camps will be in the mix. At least 25 will have a representative on hand, and admission to the event will be free of charge.
Both parents and children are on the guestlist, and everyone can meet the camp reps, finding out what programs they have and whether or not a particular one is a good fit for their child(ren). There will be options for campers up to high school age, and young people looking for summer employment positions may want to drop by and apply for a counsellor position. It is one of seven sessions that will be taking place in venues across New Jersey.
While admissions will be free, the organizers greatly appreciate advance registration and will give a corporate gift to those who do this as a thank you.
This clearinghouse-style activity all about the summer camp options available to Hackensack families will be open from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 22. The location can be found at 131 N Maple Avenue, and its Patch listing includes a registration link.
