As Halloween approaches, the Hackensack area will be getting into the “spirit” of the occasion by hosting a spooky shopping party.
The Garfield Recreation Center will be transformed into a creepy celebration for all ages, and it will be one of the area’s first Halloween-themed activities of 2025. Both admission and parking will be free, and it will be running for six hours.
This new community pop-up will be filled with local vendors and other small businesses from the area, and crafters, makers, and other sellers will be on site. Spooky snacks will be available for purchase by the crowd, and music will keep the excitement levels high. Anyone who would like to come in costume is encouraged to do so, and in keeping with the theme of the day, many of the items that will be for sale will be spooky or unusual.
Marketing a new event to the public can be a key to ensuring it will be a success, and a printing services company can lend a hand. Its in-house graphic design team can prepare a branding package, as well as a full line of promotional materials.
The first Garfield Haunted Market will showcase the area’s spooky side on Sunday, September 21 at 466 Midland Avenue. It will be open to the public from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
