Chris Giakis will be at Working Dog Winery to provide music for visitors to the vineyard. Giakis is a singer/songwriter who comes from Kingwood, New Jersey, and appears frequently at venues throughout the Delaware Valley, often for private parties, weddings, and similar events. He plays in several different genres including jazz, pop, country, and rock. He says he has been inspired by artists such as Brian Fallon, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, and more.
Giakis is the frontman of his own band, The G Note Speakers. However, when he is singing jazz and swing, he more often is accompanied by a three-piece group. Among the songs Giakis might be expected to perform are rock classics like Elton John’s “Crocodile Rock”; country anthem “Country Road” by James Taylor; and easy listening tunes like “Beyond the Sea.” Flyer printing can be used to create publicity for events like this.
A review of Giakis says:
"We hired Chris to play acoustic guitar . . . and our guests are still raving about how great he was! . . . The song list he provides has a nice mix of classics, modern and party favorites to choose from . . . Chris is extremely professional and so talented - we can’t recommend him enough . . . "
Giakis will be at Working Dog Winery on April 10, from 1.00 pm until 5.00 pm.
