Cranbury, one of the oldest towns in New Jersey, will host historic ghost walks as part of the Halloween holiday season.
The town's haunted tales of the past, and its former citizens, will be brought to life in family-friendly evening walks through the community.
The walks are presented by Haunted History Productions, whose artistic director began the first events in the fall of 2008. They have since expanded to a number of towns, and the organization employs about 20 actors who portray historical figures.
One of the tour highlights is the well-known Cranbury Inn, which is among the oldest restaurants in New Jersey, having offered food and drink since the 1750s. The inn has hosted many dignitaries and celebrities over the years, and reportedly many ghosts too.
Legend says the spirits are happy at the inn and welcoming to guests, but there have been numerous unexplained events. Believers tell stories of doors mysteriously opening and staff receiving telepathic messages advising they should turn off electrical fixtures.
Each year, Haunted History Productions produces a flyer invites local businesses to advertise. Companies who choose to be sponsors such as this often have a professional Logo Design created to enhance their products and services.
This year's haunted ghost tours take place in Cranbury on Saturday, October 19 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm, starting at 21 Park Pl West.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design
