The 8th annual Living Local Expo is being held this March. It is presented by Sustainable Lawrence.
Part of the environmental movement is the importance of cutting down on the carbon footprint, and this is seen as achievable by stressing doing business with local companies and farms, thereby saving on the amount of energy required to ship them.
The Living Local Expo will be featuring over 90 environmentally friendly vendors from the area, a farmers' market, and speakers such as Lee Farnham of the New Jersey Association of Environmental Commissions. There will also be cooking demonstrations, an ‘Ask your Neighbor’ table, a master gardener, and children's art projects using recycled materials. In addition, food will be available for purchase.
Vendor tables are available until March 14 and cost $75 each, or free for non-profit organizations. Sponsorships from $250 up to $1,000 are still available; all sponsors will be mentioned on signage, advertisements, and a PowerPoint presentation during the show. Visitors are also being asked to bring donations of used bikes, medical equipment, dresses and suits for local charities.
To advertise this show in surrounding communities such as Cranbury, organizers might decide to invest in flyer printing services from local Print companies.
The Living Local Expo is taking place at the National Guard Armory in Lawrenceville on March 28 from 11:00am - 4:00pm. To learn more or to become a vendor, call Tahirih Smith at 609-731-1818.Get a Free Quote for Print
