Growth and development
For many decades an agricultural community, Monroe began to grow, as did many settlements, with the arrival of the railroad. In Monroe's case, it was the Camden and Amboy Railroad that came through in the 1830s and 1840s, bringing new people with it. The area has been largely residential throughout its history, but between 1960 and 1968, it developed a more suburban character with the opening of the New Jersey Turnpike.
At about that time, an exit from the turnpike was constructed in the western part of the township, in order to help with the development of Leisure World of Rossmoor, a community for senior citizens. Since then, six more senior citizens' communities have been constructed in Monroe, including Concordia, Greenbrian at Whittingham, Encore, The Ponds, Clearbrook, and the Regency at Monroe. More such communities are planned. Management at these types of communities can work with brochure printers to create Booklets that explain the centers' amenities to potential residents.
Senior citizens today are often very active people who may choose to live in an age-appropriate community because of its amenities. Many are starting second careers, and might like to work with business card printing companies to design innovative and attractive Business Cards that people will enjoy receiving. Business cards today are innovative, such as those printed on unusual materials, and help create a great impression.
Seniors can also work with Stationery printers to create personalized stationery. They can keep in touch with family and friends using writing paper of their own design.
Growth of suburbs
At about the same time senior communities appeared, Monroe Township also found suburbs appearing in its northern parts. Monroe Township is in Middlesex County, which is less than 50 miles from New York City. It's also near Brunswick, New Jersey, a sizable city. The township provides suburban living for those who work in both cities. The growth of these areas had led Monroe to build shopping centers, a library, and a recreation center.
Retail businesses often need many of the services print companies can provide. For instance, when a store has a sale, it might choose to work with a flyer printing company to create a handout for distribution near the store. Flyers are one-sheet, colorful advertisements that announce a single event such as a concert, exhibit, or, in this case, a sale. They may be posted or distributed by hand. In the latter event, this gives the people handing them out a chance to interact with potential customers, explaining the event and creating a buzz about it.
Retailers can also work with banner printing companies to create colorful Banners that enhance special events. Since most banners today are printed on vinyl, they're very durable. They can be used repeatedly, and can handle most things that the weather can throw at them.Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Booklets Get a Free Quote for Banners Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Print
