Local farm hosts festival

A local farm will be hosting a festival on two weekends in October. The farm is located in Monmouth Junction, a town just miles from Cranbury.

Fall Fest PLUS Weekends is a set of two weekends where guests can visit the property and take part in a whole host of activities themed around the season, while listening to live music.
Magicians, balloon artists, jugglers, and stilt walkers will also be present. Vendors and food/beverages will be available for purchase as well.

There will be plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, including contests, games, rides, and photo ops. Some of the activities include pumpkin checkers, tic-tac-toe, bowling, corn and straw mazes, rubber duck races, and hay rides. Prizes may be offered for some of the contests, which will likely be Promotional Products for the farm. Other activities will have an additional fee on top of the admission price. The corn cannon will cost $3, $5, or $10, for 4, 7, or 15 shots respectively. Pony rides are $5 each. The pumpkin blaster will cost $2 for one shot, or $5 for three. Guests can also choose to pick apples.

There are several different admission options, which can be purchased online or at the festival. The basic general admission is $18.99, admission plus apple picking is $25.99, admission plus seven cannon shots and three blaster shots is $27.99, and an ultimate pass, which includes everything in the other bundles, is $32.99.

The farm is Von Thun’s Country Farm Market. Each day will last from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The dates are October 9, 10, 16, and 17.
