The Mayors of East Windsor and Hightstown are hosting the Mayors' ‘Shining Star’ Gala next month, providing a fundraiser for the Better Beginnings Child Development Center.
Those who attend will enjoy a cocktail reception, a sit-down dinner, and the awards presentation. There will also be a silent basket auction, for which organizers are still asking local businesses to donate items.
Four winners of awards have been announced, with the Individual award going to David L. Babcock. Lifetime Achievement award claimant this year is Larry R. Gunnell Sr., while the Organization award will be handed out to the Junior League of Greater Princeton. Completing the quartet is Leftearie (Terry) Parliaros from Hightstown Diner, who is this year’s recipient of the Business award. Recognition is given to citizens who the mayors believe have made a significant positive impact on the community.
The event is sure to be a great networking opportunity for business leaders from all over the area, including the nearby borough of Cranbury. With that in mind, local Stationery printers have probably been asked to provide new Business Cards to many of those planning to attend..
The gala is taking place at the Holiday Inn East Windsor on May 3 beginning at 5:00 pm. To find out more about the event, such as the price of tickets, contact Mercedes Colon-Vargas or Luz Horta at 604-448-6226.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Stationery
