Golf tournament helps raise funds for area recreation needs

The 26th annual Cranbury's Trophy Golf Tournament is taking place this August. This event helps to raise funds to support the village's park and recreational needs.

Registration is limited to 144 players and the deadline to sign up is this Friday, August 1. Fees are $125 per person or $400 for a foursome. Fees will include the golf game, the use of a cart, lunch, a cocktail reception and dinner; a beverage cart will also be available on the course. Players will compete in contests such as closest to the pin and hole in one, and awards will be handed out at dinner.

While this event is held to raise much needed money for the village, it could also ask as a networking opportunity for area business leaders. Golf and business have always gone together and it is not unknown for players to briefly discuss their company or industry during the game or in the locker room.

Many of the Cranbury businesspersons who plan to attend the golf tournament may have already placed a new digital business card printing order well in advance of the event.

The Trophy Golf Tournament is being held at Peddie Golf Course on August 18 beginning at 1:00 pm. Contact James Golubieski at 609-395-7953 or Josette Kratz at 609-664-3122 for more information on what to expect.
