Festival brings in sights of the holiday season

The Festival of Trees is taking place at the Morven Museum and Garden, starting later this month and extending into the New Year.

The festival is set to feature a number of Christmas trees that have been decorated by local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals. Some of the groups who have contributed to this event include the Arts Council of Princeton and the Stony Brook Garden Club.

To celebrate this event, there will be a holiday party held early in December. It will feature appetizers and cocktails, and guests will have the opportunity to tour the museum galleries.

Some of those who decorated trees, many who might come from surrounding areas such as Cranbury, may have used Banners and other paper products provide by Print companies.

The Festival of Trees is being held at the Morven Museum and Garden from November 26 until January 4. Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors, and $15 for a family of three or more.

The Museum is open Wednesday to Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and weekends from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The holiday party will be held on December 7 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm, with ticket prices ranging from $150 up to $1,500. To find out more about both of these events, call 609-924-8144.
