Father's Day fundraiser to be held near Cranbury

An event featuring food and jazz music by the Mark Gross Quartet will take place near Cranbury this year.

A Father’s Day event, the day will be presented by the 501(c)(3)-registered foundation Jazz For Prostate Cancer Awareness (Jazz4PCA), raising money for the organization. Jazz4PCA’s mission is to educate and advocate prostate cancer awareness and raise funds for prostate cancer screening. It does this by partnering with services provided by musicians, music venues, and non-profit organizations.

Mark Gross is a native Baltimore resident and jazz alto saxophonist, as well as a two-time Grammy award winner. After graduating from the Berklee College of Music, he played for Lionel Hampton and performed in the Broadway musical 'Five Guys Named Moe'. He has since worked for several other musical acts, with the Mark Gross Quartet being just one of them. He has also performed in many more Broadway productions such as 'Kat and the Kings' and 'After Midnight'.

Participants in the Father's Day event will be served a three-course meal containing an appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert. The early-bird price will be $85 and $100 after May 31. The event will take place from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, June 19 at 359 Hwy 130 in East Windsor, which is only a few minutes away from Cranbury.

Non-profits such as Jazz4PCA often benefit from using flyer printing services to share information.
