Cranbury puts on plant social

There will be a plant and seed swap held in Cranbury this April.

Although all individuals with an interest in gardening are encouraged to attend, this is an event that caters to beginners, so individuals are encouraged to bring plants that are not exotic or hard to care for. Plants should also be in a healthy state and free of pests.

The number of plants each individual brings can range anywhere from three to ten. All seeds and plants need to be labeled, and participants are also welcome to place additional information on their plans and seeds, such as their social media and name. They also asked to bring items that can be used to transport the plants from the event location to their new home.

Attendees must be 18 years or older, and it is free to attend. Guests are reminded that the event is not a sale, so they should only bring plants and items they are willing to trade for others.

Print shops are a great resource for plant owners to use to print creative labels for their plants and seeds at events such as this one.

The event will take place on Saturday, April 8. It will start at 10:00 am and will end at 11:30 am. It will be located at the Plainsboro Preserve on 80 Scotts Corner Road, Cranbury.
