The Dorson Community Foundation will present its 9th Annual Spring Splendor Gala as a virtual event coming in April. Caldwell and other areas around Essex County are invited to take part in this celebration honoring the county’s high school students and the foundation’s work with them.
A Wine Tasting Reception for VIP ticket holders will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Tickets are $150 and each will include a gift box of GlenLyon Vineyards and Winery wine, Vella Cheese Company cheeses and Wine Country Chocolates. Wines will be a 2019 Estate Syrah, a 2019 Blush ‘O The Boar Rose and a 2018 Estate Port.
These items will be delivered to patrons’ homes so everyone can participate in the virtual toast. March 9th will be the last day tickets can be purchased to insure delivery.
Tickets for the Gala are $50 each. The one-hour Gala Program will open at 7:00 pm with host of 107.5 WBLS “Quiet Storm”, Lenny Green. Emcee will be Robyn Hatcher. Grammy nominated Alphabet Rockers will perform and Newark-based Chablis Design’s Tyrone Chablis will host a fashion show.
A silent auction will include travel packages, luxury goods and services, virtual experiences and other items. Items will be up for bid all Spring Splendor Week.
