Caldwell crafters to participate in shopping showcase

At least 100 small businesses will attend an event to help the Caldwell area to kick off its shopping for the upcoming winter holiday season.

The seven-hour showcase of local crafting talent will be on offer at Wayne Valley High School, and all tables will be set up indoors. The sellers will be coming from at least three states. The day is being organized by P.J.'s Promotions.

The activity will help make it easier for shoppers to find a unique item for everyone on their gift buying list, and art, crafts, artisan-style foods, candles and many other items will all be in the mix. There will be ideas for kids stocking stuffers, and as both breakfast and lunch will be available for purchase on site, attendees can enjoy a one-stop shopping experience. Kettle corn and homemade pickles will be on offer at the door.

Pop-up crafters and makers’ markets are a common sight in many areas during the lead-up to the winter holiday season. A banner printing company can create reusable signage, and can provide options for both indoor and outdoor use, even when the weather turns autumnal.

The annual Wayne Valley Craft Show will be a holiday-themed shopping party on Sunday, October 19. It will welcome shoppers from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. The school is at 551 Valley Road in Wayne.
