Halloween is just around the corner and local teens are looking for something to make the holiday memorable. There are two truly scary Halloween attractions not far from Caldwell.
Touted as ‘New Jersey’s largest and most terrifying haunted house’, Blane Haunted House is one big terrifying walk through a 40,000 square foot mansion where more than 100 live actors will seek to scare.
Visitors will need to crawl through, jump up, climb up, and spin around as they proceed from one interactive experience to the next. The event organizers promise a terrifying exit.
Children under the age of 12 should not go through during the regular hours. However, there will be a tamed-down version for kids four years old and up called ‘Happily Haunted’ from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Sundays. Families may wish to take pictures of their little ones in costume here to take to local Print shops for Copies to send to relatives.
Brighton Asylum is a complex walk through a dark maze of horror movie-style scares, live actors, and high-quality special effects. During the fall season, the asylum also features Slasher Thursdays, The Bleeding Grounds Extended Stay, and Black Out.
Bane Haunted House is operating from now until Halloween during Wednesday through Sunday, as well as on Halloween Eve, from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at 630 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Livingston.
Brighton Asylum is located at 2 Brighton Ave, Passaic, with hours varying.
