Many here in Caldwell will be heading over to Livingston’s 83rd Annual July 4th Celebration.
The day will begin at 9:00 am with the annual Livingston Autofest 2019. Antique, muscle and classic cars along with motorcycles and street rods will be displayed. Trophies will be awarded in 20 car categories and to the top 3 motorcycles and trucks. Auto-related vendors will also be on hand. DJ Chuck will host the show.
The Annual Kiwanis Swim Karnival will start at 10:00 am at the Mervyn V.T. Haines Memorial Pool. There will be swim races for kids from 3 years old to 13 years old. All Caldwell participants will receive prizes, get balloons and enjoy arts and crafts. Parents at events such as this like to take pictures of their children wearing their medals and get Copies made at nearby Print shops for family and friends.
On Robert Harp Drive, near the Memorial Oval, family activities will take place all day. They include Powerhouse Studios Wacky Sports, bouncy rides, free pony rides and an ice cream eating contest.
A Bon Jovi Tribute Band- Wanted DOA- will begin performing on the Main Stage at 7:45 pm.
At 9:15 pm Livingston’s Famous Fireworks will begin.
If the weather gets bad, activities will be held in the high school cafeteria, stage performances will still be held at the Oval’s covered stage and the fireworks will be delayed until the next evening.
