The City Green Strawberry Festival is coming in early June. This event will be free and family-oriented.
The Metropolitan Ice Cream Truck will be hawking hot dogs, ice cream and, of course, many strawberry concoctions.
Guests from Caldwell can enjoy lawn games, and kids can get their faces painted and take part in a plethora of activities. Some attendees may want to take selfies with the goat, perhaps making good subjects for pictures. Some families take these kinds of pictures to local Stationery printers to be included into yearly family Calendars.
Music will be provided by the Porchistas, a folk, hippy, porch and rock band from Montclair. Fans of groups such as this often go to the band’s website to see if they can order Promotional Products such as visors, T-Shirts, stress balls, promotional Pens, and other paraphernalia.
The City Green Farm Stand will be laden with spring produce. Some vegetables will be radishes, spinach, peas, lettuces, arugula, scallions, and kale. This will be a good time to get potted strawberry plants and basil. Along with cash, the vendors can also accept, credit cards, WIC, SNAP and SFMNP.
The City Green Strawberry Festival is slated for Saturday, June 6 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at City Green Farm Eco-Center, 171 Grove Street, Clifton.
