The Caldwell Public Library will present a variety of adult programs during February.
On Tuesday, February 4 at 6:30 pm, Life 101 will feature GL Bookkeeping’s Michael Calello who will present a one-hour educational seminar on tax planning strategies. Although the event will be free, guests must register before the day.
February 11, from 6:30 pm until 7:30 pm, Life 101: Free Educational Seminar will center on How Money Works. Nate Gerson will focus on basic-sense finance. He will talk about concepts that can aid people with their common financial challenges. He will discuss topics such as making well-informed decisions, spending for best value, and how money works. He will be handing Flyers out at the close of the seminar, demonstrating how flyer printing is often part of the preparation for such sessions.
The next evening will be the Literary Café. This will be a combination of coffee and lectures from Elephant’s Bookshelf Press staff. CEO Matt Sinclair will begin the evening and he will be followed by Robert Wayne McCoy, Jon Fried, and Nathan Turner all reading from the new science fiction anthology Flight. The café will begin at 6:30 pm and wind down around 7:30 pm.
Blind Date with a Book will be starting at noon on February 14. Patrons can receive free Books. The catch, however, is that the Books will wrapped so the receivers will not know which Books they have been given.
All events will be at the Caldwell Library, 268 Bloomfield Avenue.
