Studio 58 TV and media partner SMW Radio will be presenting their annual Lincoln Park Music Festival kickoff party later in June.
The free festival will be a combination of art, fashion, live music, and culture hosted by Steven Strickland and Sheba Jordan. Over 60,000 attendees are expected to enjoy this celebration of community spirit and dance.
Music covering the gamut of jazz, hip-hop, house and gospel will be provided by King Tappa, Authetik, Seychelle Elise, Anatural and Steve Lovell. DJ Kaytee_Davoice will be the special guest.
Caldwell children will be playing games, listening to storytellers, and skateboarding. They can attend basketball and golf clinics and enjoy other family-oriented activities.
The Healthy Lifestyle Pavilion will feature yoga demonstrations and classes, health screenings, messages, and the opportunity to pick up some fresh organic produced grown at the Lincoln Park Community Farm.
Representatives of local and regional organizations and businesses that participate in the ‘green movement’ will be passing out Business Cards and showcasing their goods and services at the festival’s green/sustainable market.
The Official Muse Fest 2018 AfterDark – the party after the kickoff - will require $20 passes and guests must be over 21.
The Lincoln Park Music Festival kickoff event will be Saturday, June 23 from noon until 11:30 pm in Lincoln Park located between Spruce, Broad and Washington Streets and Pennsylvania and Clinton Avenues in Newark.
