A Caldwell area giveaway will help to keep everyone toasty warm during the New Jersey winter.
At least 2,000 new and gently used coats will be distributed to members of the public as part of Power Changes Lives, Inc.’s. mandate to meet the needs of the area's homeless and underserved communities. Tickets to choose an item will be provided to each person who registers, and they will continue to be handed out for as long as supplies last.
To take advantage of the offer, area households will need to express the interest ahead of time, and each household can request up to four tickets for the day. The function will be on offer at the Morris Plains Community Center, and to help make sure it all runs smoothly, volunteers are needed. Lunch or dinner will be supplied to these helpers, and the donation of warm winter Outerwear in good shape will be greatly appreciated.
Fundraisers are often also about raising awareness of the cause. A poster printing company will be able to work with the organizers of a function to ensure they have the materials they need.
Power Changes Lives Inc. has made arrangements to host this give away on Saturday, October 15. It will start at 10:00 am, and its Patch listing supplies additional information.
