A summer movie series that will take a page from the old style drive-in movies will soon be treating Caldwell residents to a special experience, and the first movie to be screened has now been announced.
The Montclair Film 2023 Summer Series will be kicking off in mid-July, and the first picture to hit the screen will be Top Gun - Maverick. It will be shown at Lackawanna Plaza, and there are two other dates scheduled for August.
The movie will begin at sunset and there is no entry fee being charged. Those interested are encouraged to arrive early so they can choose their spot, spread out their blanket or set up their chair, sit back, and relax. The other flicks on the schedule are 1980s cult classic The Goonies and the 2021 Disney film Encanto.
When marketing an event, organizers can feel confident in turning to their local poster printing company for marketing tools and other support. They will have items for most budgets, and can offer custom Print options.
The first instalment of the 14th annual Summer Series will be shown on Friday, July 16, and dates are also planned for August 6 and August 26. The gates will open at 7:00 pm to the general public, and more details are available from the Montclair Film website.
