North Conway area to welcome bleeding disorder retreat
A North Conway area event will welcome families with a member who has been diagnosed with hemophilia or another bleeding disorder, and this three-day event will offer lots of fun in a supportive environment.
The long weekend will see families enjoying meeting others who share a similar experience, and there will be lots to see and do. It’s geared to families with kids who are age 10 and under, who have been diagnosed by a doctor with a bleeding disorder, and the official programming will kick off on the Saturday morning.
The plans for the day will see families gather under a large tent at Conway’s Sherman Farms, and everyone will have a chance to navigate the location’s corn maze. There will be childcare available for any kids age three and under, and the day will wrap up with dinner and more family fun. There will be programming on the Sunday morning before it’s time to head for home, and The Grand Summit Hotel and Conference Center will be providing lodging for the occasion.
The planners of the retreat have decided to include the logo design of its sponsors of the event on its internet listing to thank these corporate partners. Additional financial support of the activity will be welcome, and more details about this can be found online.
The New England Hemophilia Association will be offering this weekend of fun and connection building starting on October 14th. It will wind up on October 16th.
