What's Happening in North Conway, NH…

Farmers Market to return to North Conway for another summer

Starting this June, the North Conway Farmers’ Market will one again be open for business.

There have been some changes made over the previous year. It will now take place at a site adjacent to the new community center, and it will have its own neighborhood garden that will be planted and maintained by the kids who use the center in the summer. The hope is that this will help them to learn more about how food is grown.

Another update is that SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) cards will now be accepted to make food purchases.

One of the biggest changes that people will notice is the day that it is held. Instead of Wednesday afternoons, the market will now be held on Saturday mornings, which is a return to the schedule it followed the year before last.

According to the market’s manager Lori Steere, the vendors who will be setting up shop there are excited about the upgrades. She also noted that applications from those who are interested in setting up a booth or display during the weekly event are still being accepted. Business forms, such as vendor applications, can be custom designed and printed for use during events like this to help keep them running smoothly.
