Concord circus goes with the flow

Kids in Concord and the nearby areas are getting excited for the Flow Circus. The afternoon event offers entertainment and education in equal measure.

The Flow Circus is an educational entertainment event run by entertainer Paul Miller. Founded in 1999, the group got its start offering hands on lessons combining juggling with STEM lessons and tween/teen outreach. The company has since grown to offer a variety of lessons and training including team building workshops, corporate retreats, educational training, and more. They also offer versions of the toys and games they use as well as some short booklet printings.

The Concord Flow Circus will offer a lesson on goal setting, finding resources and practicing in order to accomplish seemingly impossible feats. Miller will offer a juggling act that starts with just one book and will build into a narrative that includes objects flying through the air, plates spinning, and items balancing. The performance is meant for children five through twelve as a first introduction to smart planning including setting objectives and time management.

The Flow Circus will be held on June 14 starting at 3:00 p.m. at the Concord Library, located at 27 Union St. Admission is free to all children aged 5 - 12, but registration is strongly encouraged. Anyone looking for more information should contact the library directly or visit the website.
