Sports medicine symposium visits Charlotte

A sports medicine symposium has plans to stop in Charlotte next month, providing an opportunity for orthopedic surgeons and other doctors to learn more about sports-related injuries.

The 2025 OrthoCarolina Sports Medicine Symposium has an official start date, and area doctors will want to save the date to learn from industry leaders about diagnosing and repairing sports-related knee injuries. The symposium will be led by local doctors Dana Piasecki, MD, and Patrick Conner, MD.

The gathering will feature networking opportunities for individuals working in the medical field, along with exciting discussions about knee injuries, repair and recovery options, and other topics in the field of sports medicine. The expert speakers will cover a wide range of topics to help attendees learn and grow. Business card printing is a wise investment for event attendees who want to develop their professional network and create positive impressions.

The symposium is likely to be ideal for students, medical professionals, and sports enthusiasts who want to learn more about these injuries. Attendees can receive accreditation for attending, with the North Carolina Board of Physical Therapy providing 4.5 course credit hours. Registration includes a continental breakfast and morning breakout sessions.

The symposium will be held at the Dale F. Heaton Theater on Saturday, January 25, running from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Registration is available online only and costs $129 per attendee via Eventbrite.
