Charlotte residents who are excited by the potential of technology have a memorable event to look forward to this summer, as a robotics group will host a block party in town.
The Robot Block Party, which aims to be a futuristic festival where technology and fun intertwine, will open its doors to enthusiasts and others in the Queen City who want to learn more about robotics this July. The experience is being presented by the Queen City Robotics Alliance and its partners.
Visitors will get to try controlling a real remote control robot with guidance from experienced and patient team members. Robotics teams from some of Charlotte’s high schools will also attend to show off the things they have created and spread their interest in technology. Poster printing is a powerful organic way to announce and promote community events like this, with Posters generating thousands of impressions in busy parts of town.
STEM-based challenges will also be held, allowing children to learn the basics behind robotics. It’s an ideal opportunity for students who are exploring different interests and areas of study, potentially helping Charlotte’s young people discover a new career path.
The Tuckaseegee Recreation Center in Charlotte has been announced as the host site, with the block party kicking off at 1:30 PM on Saturday, July 25th. Tickets are free online, and donations are appreciated.
