Block party showcases success of robotics in Charlotte

Technology is blooming with the spring weather in Charlotte, and area residents with a fascination in robotics will want to be sure to attend.

The Robot Block Party is set to welcome crowds of interested people in the Queen City who are eager to learn more about robots, the competitive teams who build them, and STEM topics that are related to robotics. It is open to attendees of all ages, with organizers ensuring the environment is family-friendly. This year’s event is being presented by the Queen City Robotics Alliance.

Attendees will get to experience controlling a real robot with guidance from experienced robotics team members. The teams will also provide live demonstrations, inspiring the next generation and showcasing the capabilities of Charlotte’s middle and high school students. Flyer printing offers an affordable way for organizers and promoters of such events to reach a large crowd, especially when placing Flyers in busy parts of town.

STEM-based challenges will also be held as Charlotte’s youths learn more about robotics in a warm and encouraging setting. Parents can allow their children to indulge in their interests in robotics, discovering new career paths.

The Arbor Glen Outreach Facility in Charlotte will be the host venue for the Block Party. It is scheduled for Saturday, May 16th, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. General admission tickets are available online for free.
