A May afternoon has been set aside in Charlotte for a special event that will be all about sitting down for a seafood feast with friends and family.
The Louisiana Crawfish Boil is preparing to return to the city for another year, and it will benefit students who attend LSU Carolinas.
Fresh crawfish and other Cajun fare will be enjoyed by the guests at this annual fundraiser, and they can choose from two different meal options. Cold beer will be on tap, and soft drinks and other beverages will also be available.
The menu for the occasion includes two selections. The first consists of corn on the cob and potatoes, which will be served alongside three pounds of crawfish. Alternatively, the attendees can choose to enjoy a big bowl of sausage and chicken jambalaya, and there will also be tickets sold for a raffle draw.
The price for the occasion depends upon which ticket is selected, Jambalaya tickets are $8, while the crawfish option is $30. If they wish, groups can reserve tables of eight for $100, but each individual will need to purchase their meal tickets separately. Posters can be a cost effective way of spreading the word about a fundraiser like this, and they can be sourced from a poster printing company in the local area.
Charlotte’s Catawba Brewing Company will be welcoming guests for this Cajun style celebration on May 18. All ages are encouraged to attend.
