Pottery wheel courses brings skills to Charlotte

A pottery wheel course is coming to Charlotte next month, bringing learning opportunities and a creative outlet for aspiring artists in the area.

The Mixed Level Pottery Wheel Class has an official start date in the Books, and will bring a new learning experience to beginner and intermediate-level potters interested in learning different skills and techniques. The class, which will be spread across six separate sessions, will offer a supportive and fun learning environment where students can ask questions and learn from expert potters.

Beginners will learn basic wheel-throwing techniques like shaping simple Forms, pulling walls, and centering the clay. Experienced potters will focus their energies on refining their existing knowledge and techniques while tackling new and complex shapes. Brochure printing is an effective way to help students learn and retain information from educational courses and workshops like this.

Attendees can expect hands-on instruction and small class sizes to ensure the ideal learning experience. All pottery materials and tools will be provided, and the class is open to interested parties 16 and up. Attendees are asked to wear appropriate clothing and remove hand accessories, including rings. Pottery pieces can be picked up after 30 days.

The hosting venue will be MakerSpace Charlotte, and the course will begin on Monday, December 9th, at 6:00 PM. Interested students can reserve their places online, and registration costs $225 per attendee.
