Charlotte children are invited to get a jumpstart on their Halloween trick or treating while their parents enjoy an afternoon of shopping.
The 2nd Annual Trunk and Treat is a free event, organized by MG Life and Summer Lucille with Material Girl Hair. Each child will receive free candy and other snacks while their parents have a chance to browse through the tables of items for sale that will be set up for the day. A company that provides printing services will be able to produce a variety of promotional items to help advertise the event throughout the community.
The organizers of the event expect that at least 500 adults will attend, and they are looking for those small business owners or other vendors who may be interested in setting up for the event. The cost for space will be $20 if booked early and $40 after that. Those who wish to take part are asked to bring their own table that is no larger than six feet. They are also interested in hearing from anyone who would be willing to volunteer or make a donation of candy or other goodies for the kids.
The Trunk or Treat will take place on October 29 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at 520 Collins Aikman Drive. Further details are available on the event’s Eventbrite listing.
