Residents can head to uptown Charlotte for a night of delicious food and inspiring stories. The 4th Annual Samaritan’s Feet International Barefoot Gala will feature music and dancing, a silent auction, and dinner. The theme of 2015’s event is
'Stories'.
This is a black tie optional event. In addition, guests are encouraged to take off their shoes and leave them at check-in for a $10 donation.
During the event, three “Women of Influence” will be honored and given an award. These women are individuals who have contributed with their service, children’s work, and leadership.
Tickets cost $175 each. There are also sponsorship opportunities for between $1,750 and $25,000. Individuals can make donations for shoes, water or sanitary items too. Contributions are tax deductible.
Proceeds will go to help Samaritan’s Feet International, a humanitarian aid organization dedicated to providing new shoes and washing the feet of under-privileged people around the world. In this way, they can show others the meaning of hope and love.
Brochure printers were probably asked to create small Booklets that tell attendees more about the Samaritan's Feet organization.
The gala will take place on November 7 at Le Meridien, located on 555 South McDowell Street. Doors open at 6:00 pm and the silent auction will begin. Dinner and the program starts at 7:00 pm.
