A locally based loan company was recently named as the number one large company to work for in Charlotte.
The Charlotte Business Journal selected Quicken Loans for the honor. The retail mortgage company is the second largest in the country, and currently employs more than 300 people. It has seen a growth in its office size of 65% in just this past year alone.
Being chosen to receive such an honor can reflect highly on a business, and this can be included in its marketing items such as Letterheads, digital Business Cards, and any other Promotional Products it chooses to make use of.
Along with the designation of being the best large company to work for in the city, the business was also presented with the Community Impact Award in recognition of the importance it paces on helping those who live in the surrounding area.
Employees volunteered gave more than 2,000 hours of their time to work with local not-for-profits, and to help encourage them to do so, they were granted one volunteer day for which they would receive their full pay.
A spokesperson for Quicken, David Schroeder, who is its Vice President, noted that the company has able to combine highly talented and dedicated team members with a supportive corporate culture. The end result of this has been a positive place to work and an overall successful business.
