Charlotte residents with an aching sweet tooth are in for a treat next month, as the penultimate competition in a dessert-making contest is set to begin.
The Dessert Wars National Championship is making its way to Charlotte soon, and interested parties are encouraged to attend to sample some of the tastiest treats from across the United States. The event, coined the Largest Dessert Festival in America, will feature 48 top dessert vendors nationwide.
The event aims to cater to individuals who live the “foodie” lifestyle and want to try desserts that will rock their taste buds. Two ticket package options are available, with the VIP option offering 50 sample tickets, a to-go box of desserts, and early entry to the event venue. Interested parties opting for the general admission package will receive 30 sample tickets, a to-go box, and later entry. Business Cards are an effective way to build awareness and networking at such events.
Tickets do not need to be printed to enter the event venue, and no extra charges will be tacked on for desserts after entry. The event is family-friendly, though only service dogs will be permitted.
The national championships will be held at the Park Expo Center on Saturday, October 19, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. General admission costs $65, and VIP entry starts at $80. Interested parties can make reservations online.
