Charlotte’s Hospitality House offers a haven for families that are going through a medical crisis, and it has put out a call to local young people who would like to lend a hand.
The facility is surrounded by gardens, and these provide a peaceful and quiet setting for its guests. These need to be maintained, and a Spring Clean Up day has been planned, but some helping hands are needed.
The youth volunteers will be weeding, trimming, installing plants, and performing other garden chores, and the organizers explained that it will be supervised and socially distanced. Everyone is asked to make sure they wear a mask and protect their hands with gardening gloves, and other supplies such as bug spray, sunscreen, and water will be supplied by Kidz That Care. There are enough spaces for up to 12 volunteers, and parents or guardians may be asked to give their written permission for their child to participate.
An activity like this gives socially conscious kids a chance to do a good turn for their community. A printer can craft a variety of Promotional Products to give to each volunteer at this sort of project to thank them for their hard work.
This spruce-up of the gardens at Hospitality House will be held on March 6. Everyone who registers should arrive ready to pitch in and get their hands dirty.
