Charlotte to kick of 2022 with family nature hike

As the end of 2020 draws closer, Charlotte families have been invited to kick off 2022 with an outing to a local park and nature center.

A guided hike will be on offer at the location, and it is free for anyone to join the fun. The route followed well wind through some of the site’s forested areas, and while all ages are welcome, anyone who is 18 or under needs to have an adult with them.

The group will walk between one and a half and two miles, and the guide will point out various items of interest along the way. It will give individuals and families a chance to meet others who enjoy being active outdoors. Accommodations that allow people with a disability to participate may be available, and anyone who would like to find out more about this is asked to contact TRInfo@mecknc.gov.

A hike offers a way to enjoy the great outdoors, and they are often popular activities. A brochure printing company can prepare route maps as well as informational publications to give to hikers before they hit the trail.

This outing has been scheduled for the afternoon of January 1, and it will take place in Reedy Creek Nature Preserve, where it is scheduled to start at 2:00 pm. Participants are asked to wear a mask during the walk.
