Charlotte gardeners can extend their planting season well into the fall, and a local pop-up market will help them to do so.
Wing Haven has scheduled its annual Fall Plant Sale for this October, and along with commonly seen shrubs, trees and other plants, it will offer unusual and native cultivars not seen in the trade as often. The proceeds will help to maintain the site’s own gardens and support its programming, and both members and non-members are welcome.
The first day of the sale will be open to Wing Haven members only, so they will get first choice of what’s on offer. Anyone who would like to take advantage of the opportunity can apply for membership ahead of time. The next three days will be open to the general public. While admission to the venue will be free, donations will be appreciated.
Annual fundraisers and other recurring events may be a good fit for reusable Banners, Posters and other custom signage. A poster printing company will be pleased to prepare the materials along with any other personalized items its customers require.
The 2023 Fall Plant Sale will be on offer at Wing Haven from October 11 to October 14. Reservations are not required to attend, and a full list of the species and cultivars on offer will be released at a later date.
