Beauty pageants are a popular Charlotte tradition, and one planned for this summer will be all about fun and frivolity, with all ages welcome to take a seat and enjoy the show.
The Charlotte Pride Drag Queen Pageant will see the participants vying for three separate titles, and while there will be stiff competition, it is all in good fun. There will be crowns awarded for Mr. Charlotte Pride, Ms. Charlotte Pride, and Mx. Charlotte Pride, and Kristin Collins, who is 2018 Ms. Charlotte Pride, will be on hand to both crown and present the winners to the audience.
Those who are interested in being a part of the occasion can choose from either VIP or general admission tickets, and both will be on sale until August 3 or they run out. The VIP ticket holders will be invited to attend a reception before the pageant, and they will be able to meet the contestants in person. They will also be given a drink ticket and a selection of hors d’oeuvres.
