The first ever C.R.A.F.T. Fest is about to showcase local talent at the Sleepy Poet Antique Mall, and everyone is welcome to show some love to area makers.
The festival, which takes its name from Charlotte Region Arts, Fiber and Textiles, will be held in late March. To help make this inaugural celebration a success, the organizers are welcoming applications from area crafters and artisans for the two-day function.
The plans for the weekend include a variety of vendor booths, and classes, demonstrations, and “make and take” stations will be on offer as well. Anyone who would like a bite to eat will be able to select their favourite fare from the food trucks that will be parked on site. As well as handmade items, antiques will also be in the mix, and everyone is encouraged to stop by in person.
When planning a festival or other large community event, the organizers often reach out to local Print shops for printed materials and other support. These companies can even prepare an eye-catching Logo Design for the occasion, which may be a useful tool in building its brand.
The first ever C.R.A.F.T. Fest will be showcasing the city’s creative side on March 26 and 27. The organizers may be contacted at CraftGuildCLT@gmail.com by vendors who would like to learn more.
