Charlotte gets artsy at upcoming event

The fast approaching 6th Annual Sip and Stroll is an art and wine festival located in Uptown Charlotte.

The event will begin with an evening kickoff party where guests can taste wine, chat with the artists, listen to music, and see art demonstrations.

The next day the festival will feature booths at which artists will have their work for sale. In addition, more than 40 wine vineyards will be on site offering wine samples. Bottles of wine will be for sale too.

Guests can also attend wine seminars that will be held throughout the day. No doubt the event organizers used brochure printers to create a handout with a description of the various seminars that will be offered at the festival.

Admission to each event costs $29.99, which includes 10 wine samples. For $49.99, individuals can go to both events and have 10 wine samples per day.

VIP tickets cost $39.99 and include 14 wine samples, early admission, and a special wine seminar. A two-day VIP ticket costs $69.99.

The kickoff party will take place on September 11 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The main festival will be held on September 12 from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Individuals with VIP passes can get in an hour early.

It all takes place at the EpiCentre, located on 210 East Trade Street. For additional details, call (704) 526-0848.
