A popular Charlotte event is set to return for its second year. Once again, it will offer a menu filled with tasty treats, and an oyster roast will be featured.
Held to raise awareness and funds towards tackling colon cancer, the meal will be taking place after the ‘Get Your Rear in Gear’ run, and it is open to both those who took part in the race and the general public as well. The beer and wine will be flowing, and the guests will also be invited to enjoy an assortment of small-bite dishes along with the roasted shellfish.
While the food may be the main draw for some, there will be plenty more to enjoy. A live band will keep the guests entertained, and there will also be a both an auction and raffle. The proceeds will be utilized to help raise awareness about colon cancer and the importance of being screened.
