Charlotte is a community that takes the issue of homelessness seriously, and part of its efforts to tackle the problem will be an event hosted by an area not for profit group.
A resource fair has been planned for the Arbor Glen Outreach Facility, and it can be of interest to those who are homeless, in transition or are experiencing insecurity when it comes to housing. They can find out about the resources that exist to help them, and connect with many social service and other agencies, all in one place.
The planners of the function explained that their goal is to create an environment where are will feel welcome and valued, as this can be an important step in helping them to walk away from homelessness. Tangible products, including personal hygiene items, clothing, food, shoes and other items will be distributed, and this is just the start of what will be on offer.
When attending this type of event, the guests often want to be able to learn as much as they possibly can. Brochures can combine text and photos to create a publication that includes a lot of information in a small space, and these can be sourced from a brochure printing company. There may still be spaces available for any vendor that would lie to participate, and further details can be gathered by contacting ahb220org@gmail.
The Arbor Glen Outreach Facility is located at 1520 Clanton Road. It will be hosting this expo style afternoon on November 30th.
