Those who enjoy browsing through the bizarre may find lots to catch their interest during a family-friendly event that will explore Charlotte’s unusual side.
A curated selection of artists, vendors and dealers will be coming into the city from all over the country for the Oddities and Curiosities Expo, and it will be a celebration of all things weird and quirky. The planners explained that all of the items will be sustainably sourced and legal to own, and the function will take place at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Those who come out to the expo can count on seeing an eclectic mix of pieces, and taxidermy, original artwork, preserved specimens, odd jewelry, handcrafted oddities, and many other items. It will be a welcoming experience for the shoppers, who will be invited to mingle and meet others who share their interest in the unusual.
To help the public get the experience they want from the event, there are several ticketing and workshop options on offer. As well, T-Shirts that have been printed with a graphic design prepared for the occasion can be ordered online or purchased at the expo.
This celebration of the quirky side of life will be held in Charlotte on February 26. The doors will open at 10:00, and tickets start at $10. All ages are welcome.
