Charlotte conference to be all about Turners syndrome

A conference for those living with Turner’s syndrome will soon be held in Charlotte, and it promises to be educational and a lot of fun as well.

Turner’s syndrome occurs when a female’s X chromosome is damaged or missing, and can result in a set of health and developmental issues. The TS Carolinas/Regional Conference is set to bring families, individuals and professionals together, all to discuss the condition.

The attendees can find out about the latest developments when it comes to the syndrome, and while the adults attend information sessions and other workshops, the kids can head to the activities on offer for them.

The topics discussed during the event will range from cardiology to social awareness, and the children's programming will be divided up into several sections. There will be ones for girls ages 3 to 6, 7 to 11, and 12 to 17. This means a chance to meet others who know and understand what they are going through, and can help them to learn how to manage their own health.

Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte has been selected to host the event, and it will begin at 9:30 am. Lunch will be served, and swag such as promotional pens can be obtained for an occasion like this from a professional Print company.

This year’s Turners Syndrome Carolinas conference will be welcoming families on November 2. The registration fee starts at $40.
