Charlotte club to welcome fundraiser for area vets

Veterans living with PTSD and other traumatic injuries will be the beneficiaries of a golf outing that will soon be hitting the links at a Charlotte area club.

Mooresville Golf Club has been selected to be the venue for the 2022 Paws and Putts Charity Golf Tournament. The proceeds will be donated to Continuing the Mission, which partners trained service dogs with vets in need of support.

Tickets for the occasion start at $110, and a discounted price is available for former military members. It will kick off with a shotgun start, and will follow a four-person scramble format. Registration for the outing includes a buffet-style lunch as well as the use of a cart. Some of the service dogs from Continuing the Mission will be on hand for a player meet and greet, and there will be lots of other fun for the golfers as well.

Along with all the other perks on offer for the players during the afternoon, each registrant will go home with a swag bag of corporate gifts. There are sponsorship packages available, more information about which can be found on the event listing.

The Paws and Putts Charity Golf Tournament will begin at 1:30 pm on Saturday, October 1. Its registration system is now open to anyone who would like to play through.
