Charlotte celebration to please local families

An event that will make the holidays a treat for local wildlife is in the works for Charlotte, and this family-friendly celebration will do a good turn for local people and animals alike.

Wing Haven will be hosting its “Holiday Trees for Wildlife” party, which is recommended for families with children age 10 and under. Tickets start at $15 each, and the organizers have made a request that everyone brings along some non-perishable foods, and this will be donated to the Loaves and Fishes food pantry so that everyone has a meal on their table.

The guests at the function will be invited to partake in some hands-on crafting and the make-and-take station, and they will also prepare edible ornaments for the enjoyment of local wildlife. A scavenger hunt and story session are on the agenda, and festive refreshments will be served to the crowd.

By hosting a family function like this, an organization can introduce itself to the public in a fun and friendly way. Festive decor for the occasion can be obtained from area banner printing companies.

The Holiday Trees for Wildlife morning will be on offer on December 5. Advance registration is required, and the festivities will kick off at 10:00 am. SEED Wildlife Garden, which can be found at 260 Ridgewood Avenue in Charlotte, will be the location for all the excitement.
