Charlotte brewery plans pet-themed paint and sip

A paint and sip offers a way to get started when it comes to working with a palette and brush, and a Charlotte workshop will provide the public with just such an opportunity.

Catawba Brewing has scheduled an in-person Friday night painting activity, and the subject matter for the session will be the attendees’ pets. It will be led by an artist, and may be a good choice for the newbie painter.

Artist Carla Garrison-Mattos will be teaching an assortment of basic techniques during the session. Attendees will be working with canvases measuring 16 by 20 inches in size, and it has been requested that they submit a photo of their companion animal ahead of time so the facilitator can prepare a paint-by-letter canvas ahead of time. She will walk the attendees through their projects, and snacks and drinks may be purchased on site.

A paint and sip can be a fun idea for a date, girls’ or guys’ night out, or just to enjoy alone. A flyer printing company can hope to make sure everyone knows about the events on offer for them in the local area.

This pet-themed paint class for those who are new to the brush will be on offer on Friday, September 8. It will begin promptly at 6:30 pm at 933 Louise Avenue.
