Charlotte activity to connect kids with nature

Introducing kids to the natural world can help them to develop a lifelong love for nature, and Charlotte’s SEED Wildlife Garden will be hosting an event that's geared towards the city’s younger set.

Rutherford Rabbit will be the guest of honor for the garden’s Storytime and More session, which is intended for kids who are 10 or under. Other ages are welcome too, and everyone is asked to wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols.

The kids will be invited to listen to a nature-themed story, and when it is over, they will roll up their sleeves and make a craft. After the event wraps up, they will be able to stay and explore the gardens and the creatures who call them home, and both members and non-members can take part. The spaces available are expected to fill up fast, but there will be a wait list so that if anyone cancels, their spot can be given to someone else.

Hosting this sort of session can give an organization a way to introduce kids to the world around them. A company that prepares Promotional Products will be able to supply a variety of inexpensive “swag” that can be given to each child who takes part.

SEED Wildlife Garden will be welcoming the public for this special activity on December 15. It is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.
