Every summer, people flood the streets of downtown Charlotte to sample food prepared by various local restaurants and to enjoy the music of live performances, the dancing, the magic acts, and other Forms of entertainment that are always appealing to the host of participants.
Once again, the Taste of Charlotte Festival will take place on Tryon Street from 6th Street to MLK, Jr. Boulevard, in the center of the city. The event is scheduled for June 8 and 9, 2012, from 11:00 am – 11:00 pm. The final day of the festival will be Sunday, June 10 , and the event will last from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
This year, the Wahl Face the Day Tour will also take place in conjunction with the festival. Men who are concerned about the grooming of their facial hair, be it their beards or their mustaches, are invited to receive a free trim, as well as advice from a team of Master Barbers. The barbers will not be on the scene throughout the entire festival and could benefit from flyer printing and banner printing to indicate their location among the masses.
Operating from a 30-foot mobile barbershop, the Wahl team of stylists will be searching for an individual with exceptionally fine-groomed facial hair to win a $500.00 prize, the Wahl Man of Charlotte title, and the opportunity to compete nationally for the Man of the Year title.
Those who visit the barbershop will also be supporting a great cause. Wahl will be donating $1 to Livestrong, which serves to aid those affected by cancer, empowering them to fight back against the disease.
