Pairs planning their nuptials can try out a unique bridal show early next month.
‘The Big Fake Wedding’ is a bridal show and performance all rolled into one. The event uses a ‘vow-renewal’ ceremony, dinner, and reception in order to showcase the services of wedding vendors.
During the ceremony and reception, couples act as wedding guests. As a result, they are able to sample food, see flower arrangements, and observe other services. Overall, it offers an opportunity for attendees to see vendors in an authentic wedding setting.
Tickets cost $25, which includes a light meal, sparkling wine, and a goodie bag. Guests will also enjoy dancing and some surprises. When purchasing tickets online, individuals can expect a small extra charge.
Vendors at the event include bakeshops, florists, caterers, wedding boutiques, and jewelers. With all of the businesses at the event, it is likely printing companies in the Charlotte area were asked to create Business Cards. Vendors can use foil stamping and raised lettering to make their cards stand out.
In 2008, Callie Murray founded ‘The Big Fake Wedding’. At that time, it was called ‘The NotWedding’. Since then, the company has been promoting small businesses while helping brides and grooms plan their weddings.
The fun takes place at the Levine Museum of the New South, located on 200 East Seventh Street. The ceremony begins at 7:00 pm on February 5. Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
